News for 2012

The Melbourne Rope Quoits Association Inc will be hosting The Australian Rope Quoits Council Singles and Teams Championships on the Saturday 9th  June and Sunday 10th June 2012.

The venue will be Rosamond Bowling Club, Rosamond Rd, Maribyrnong.

The Singles will commence at approximately 10.00am on Saturday and the Teams commence at 9.00am on Sunday.

Everyone is most welcome to attend.

The Melbourne Rope Quoits Association Inc Presentation Night will be held on 10th November 2012 at the Greensborough Bowling Club.

Every One Of All Ages Is Most Welcome To Attend

During our Mid – Season Break the Melbourne Rope Quoits Association Inc. hold the Singles, Doubles and Oscar Cooper Tournaments for our players.

These games to be held between 1st June and 24th June 2011 (at a date and time to be confirmed) will be played at the West Ivanhoe Rooms, Seddon Reserve, Green St, Ivanhoe.

Again, you are most welcome to attend.

On the 26th September, 2010 the Annual Roy Foxcroft Voting Night will be held at the West Ivanhoe Rooms. The Roy Foxcroft Voting (named after one of our Oldest and Longest playing members) is our equivalent of the AFL Brownlow Medal.

The Australian Rope Quoits Council will hold the Australian Singles and Teams Championships on 9th and 10th June 2012 at Melbourne.
Players and Teams competing are from Ballarat, Bendigo, Broken Hill, Coleraine, Cronulla/Sydney and Melbourne.

These Championships are a “must see”, as you will witness many Australian Champions in action.
